Vocation Mentorship  Fall 2006

Back to the Campus Ministry/Lifejournez page.

What am I going to do with my life?...What kind of person do I want to be?....How do I let my life speak?...many students grapple with these types of questions while under the pressures of the professional career rat race. In the Vocation Mentorship, students apply for and are matched with personally selected mentors to discuss “What You Really Want,” debate ethically challenging case scenarios, and share in the mentors’ resources. Former participants eagerly tapped into the life experiences, maturity, wisdom and openness of the mentors through individual and group sessions. The program runs through the Fall semester and consists of group and one-on-one sessions as well as a field trip to the Flying Trapeze and a Service Project. Find out more about this program, learn how to apply and receive an application and packet of Fall 2006 Mentor Bios at the student info sessions on Wednesday, August 30 & Tuesday, September 5 at 8 pm in the Library(get map) at First Congregational Church of Berkeley. Application deadline for the Fall Vocation Mentorship is Friday, Sept 8 at 4 pm.
