Adult Fellowship

2030@FCCB

2030@FCCB is a fellowship group of singles, couples and families in their 20s and 30s. The group has activities monthly (planned by various people in the group) and an annual Christmas party. 2030@FCCB is a wonderful way to meet new people in a casual social setting and a good way to become involved with FCCB.

Deckers

Couples and singles, many with older children (elementary school and up) meets monthly. Programs may include song/karaoke night, Christmas party, skiing, hiking, rafting and an A's game.

Brewsters

A social group of approximately 45-70 plus year olds (but not exclusively so). They meet the third Friday of every month (except July and August) at 6:30 pm in the homes of various members or in a restaurant for dinner and conversation. Activities planned in the past by hosts include concerts, singing, art exhibits, etc. A Christmas party is hosted in December and one or two trips arranged to dinner, followed by theater.

Alden Club

Couples and singles around retirement age. Activities include speakers, picnics, dinners, trips to the city or theater, and a Christmas party. Meets on the second Friday of each month.

East-West Gathering

Those who share a common interest in the peoples of Asia meet following worship every two or three months for lunch and conversation. The focus of conversation is on one country, issue, or concern which is current in the news or in the lives of the participants.

Friday Group

Women's group oriented toward books, reading and fellowship, including occasional potlucks and parties. Meets Friday mornings at 10:00am in McLean Lounge, September-June, with a three-day retreat in April.

Men's Retreat

Men of the congregation gather occasionally for special events and retreats. Call the church office, 510/848-3696, for information.

Women's Voices

An opportunity for women to bond together in a variety of contexts: Spiritual Journey groups, retreats once or twice a year, and other special gatherings.

New Dealers

Men and women meet for bridge playing and dessert. No need to bring your own partner. Meets in Durant House on the fourth Friday of every month at 1:00pm.
