One Great Hour of Sharing, Live on the Web Wednesday, Mar 11 7:30-8:15 pm Outside of the church— see below Special webcasts will be broadcast online on several Wednesdays during Lent in connection with the UCC’s One Great Hour of Sharing special offering. “Tune in” Wednesday evenings, 7:30–8:15 pm, and you will talk with a refugee from Sudan, explore health care for the poor with a medical missionary in India, and engage disaster relief mission workers along the US Gulf Coast. These interactive sessions will be offered on March 4, 11, 18, 25 and April 1 on the UCC website at www.ucc.org/oghs/resources/oghs-lentenprogramming.html. One Great Hour of Sharing is the special mission offering of the United Church of Christ that carries God's message of love and hope to people in more than eighty countries. The UCC works with international partners to provide sources of clean water and food, education and health care, small business micro-credit, emergency relief, and advocacy and resettlement for refugees and displaced persons. OGHS also supports domestic and international ministries for disaster preparedness and response. FCCB will collect the One Great Hour of Sharing offering on Sunday, March 22. Intended age range: All Ages Childcare will not be provided.
